MISSION:
The mission of the Genetics Resources On the Web (GROW) site and search engine is to optimize the use of the web to provide health professionals and the public with high quality information related to human genetics, with a particular focus on genetic medicine and health.
To achieve its mission, GROW will:
  • create and maintain a web site whose search engine effectively searches for human genetics content across all GROW members’ sites.
  • evaluate a subset of member sites each year to ensure that they adhere to high quality standards.
  • track usage statistics and strive to continually improve the utility of the search results retrieved.
  • encourage communication among GROW members via meetings and activities.
